Week 2
Go to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0268978/ - Read the FAQ at the bottom of the page. Which question(s) interested you most? What was your reaction to the answer(s)?
I liked the FAQ-based activity. Merely reading the FAQs provides a way of giving students additional information to help them understand "A Beautiful Mind" and see how the action of the film did and did not portray what actually happened in Nash's life. Giving students an option in working with the FAQ was also good: it provided a much better way of fostering engagement than, for example, asking specific questions and then telling students to answer those questions based on information in the FAQ.
